Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain stroller is light and durable. It also offers excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold makes it's easy to move and also freestanding when folded. The padded seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there's a huge canopy and storage bin. Baby suitability: Yes and with a separate carrycot (not suitable for sleeping overnight).

Air-filled tyres and a good suspension can handle rough terrain. You can also use it to jog. But, you should wait until your baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.

Ickle Bubba Air

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a great option for parents looking for a lightweight buggy with enhanced features.  3 wheel strollers  comes with an adjustable carrycot that can be folded flat for babies and an adjustable forward and rear facing seat for the pushchair.

The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it's received praise from customers. It's incredibly light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also super-easy to put together. In fact I was able to get the whole thing up and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing considering that it also included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a nice, wide seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is very easy to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of room and I am impressed that the handle bar features pockets to keep your phone and keys safe.

The only slight downside is that the handlebar is quite low, which could be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's coated in a lovely leather-like material that's soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, meaning it's still a breeze to push with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for parents who like to explore and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on forest and field paths. The front wheel can be locked and can be swiveled to allow for greater flexibility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one safe on all trips and the parking brake reliably prevents the stroller from moving when you are taking a break. The comfortable seat is easy to lower to a lying position, and the canopy opens to reveal netting for optimum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate dad or mum's heights.

The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a leisurely walk, a longer hike or a long distance trek. It comes with a lay-flat seat and suspension air wheels for an easy ride. The front wheel can be locked for more stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. The stroller can also fold in order to fit into car boot spaces or storage spaces.

Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a bit harder to maneuver than its predecessor, and the locking system is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebars are higher than some competitors, so they might not be suitable for smaller parents. However, this stroller is sturdy and a lot of fun, and is worth considering by active families.

Red Kite Push Me Pace

The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that is known for its easy-to-use and simple parenting essentials. It's the most recent - and priciest - version of their bargain light stroller line. It like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible so you can use it right from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace features some stunning design elements, including rose-gold hues on the chassis, hood, and stroller trims that really make it stand out. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are super elegant and there is the option of adding a co-ordinating leather handle for the cover and bumper bar too.

The stroller seat can be used from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily to a two-in-one reversible position, either facing the parent or world-facing. The stroller seat features multiple lie-back positions, soft padded legs rests, and an extendable sun canopy with zip-off sections that are concealed, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor.

What's more, when it's folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43 x 32cm which means it passes for hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among others. Two buttons on either side are easy utilize and press into the right position.

Bugaboo Fox 5

Designed to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it out with my two children - an infant and an eight-week old - across rocky pavements as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.

The puncture-proof wheels are huge with a diameter of 22cm and 30cm which means they can handle all kinds of terrain. The wheels come with an opening that can be shut or opened to let air in when required. It's a bit bigger than other pushchairs, however it isn't heavy or bulky when pushing over bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable and the frame and faux leather grips are simple to wipe down. It's also quieter than other pushchairs and I felt at ease with it on busy urban streets. It comes with accessory points so you can attach footmuffs and parasols and also changing bags, snack trays, and even snack tray. The hood can be used to block out rain and wind, but it's not waterproof. It's a single pram, however, you can also attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child a bit of legroom. It took around 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it into the seat.

UPPAbaby Ridge

If you're looking forward to a morning jog in the crisp air or a moonlit stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a shared adventure. This all-terrain stroller is designed to keep both you and your child active.

The huge 12" and 16" foam-filled tires give you a smooth ride, no matter the terrain. The patented suspension allows you to glide across woodland paths with minimal impact on your child's legs and rear. And the durable hand brake that is a performance disc lets you to stop quickly, even while jogging downhill.

From bustling farmers markets to street performers playing a tune, the Ridge is able to navigate your city's most popular scenes with ease. Its large basket is big enough to hold your market finds and all of your baby's essentials and the spacious canopy offers sun and wind protection. The canopy's large front unzips to reveal two mesh peekaboo windows that make it simple to monitor your little one's surroundings.

The Ridge's reversible seating lets you choose whether your child is facing you or the world in front. Its simple foot brake system makes it a breeze for parents who are just starting out. The reversible handlebar is a wonderful feature that allows you to adjust it to your height. The Ridge's fold, unlike other strollers for jogging, is sturdy and self-standing when folded.

iCandy Core

The new iCandy pushchair comes with a variety of features that will really impress parents. It comes with a multi-mode wheelbase and an LED Visibility Hub light, which is an industry first. It also has an integrated Ride-on Board which saves on future costs and makes it simple for a tired toddler to accompany your family on outings.

The Core can be bought as a stand-alone unit or as an entire travel system. it is compatible with the most popular car seats from brands such as Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It is the largest seat unit in the iCandy line, which means you can use it to help your baby's start and beyond. It's a gorgeously designed pushchair that has premium knitted fabrics. The child's removable bumper bar as well as the parent's adjustable handlebar are made of soft leatherette. The calf support folds away are also very comfortable for children.

It was amazing how quickly it folded and collapsed, even with the seat unit still attached. It can easily fit in your boot or hallway which makes it perfect for travel. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, including a colour matching changing rucksack and a liner/footmuff.
